In Eastern Ontario and parts of Quebec we have developed relationships with feed mills that produce custom feeds to each farm’s specifications set out by the dairy farm and Agtrek. We have also developed a valued relationship with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) www.admani.com that provides Agtrek with advanced technologies and training along with access to their dairy research facility. They also provide Agtrek with a quality premix used in formulation.

Another area of business is providing training and consulting to larger farms outside Eastern Ontario, seed companies, various feed manufactures, farm equipment companies, and financial institutions, all looking to improve their on-farm knowledge of forage management, nutrition, and farm business.

Agtrek’s philosophy on continued education is to provide education through invited guests speakers, team meetings and sending Agtrek consultants to conferences and courses i.e.Cornell University advanced nutrition, Penn State Dairy Workshop, Western Dairy Management (Nevada), Ontario Associates of Bovine Practitioners and Ontario Business, etc. Our advantage is that each consultant hears it directly from the educator, the information is not filtered by management.
